Founded ona cross-examination.
Opposia began in a courtroom in 2024, watching a polished, AI-assisted brief unravel under cross-examination — not because the law was wrong, but because a single citation had never been checked by anyone who wanted it to be wrong.
The observation
Every firm was acquiring tools that write. Nobody was buying the tool that argues. The economics of attack had inverted — machines made scrutiny cheap — and yet scrutiny was the one thing nobody automated against themselves.
The doctrine
We spent a year building a bench of specialists rather than one clever generalist: agents that observe, reason, attack, and govern, plus role-players who argue each side of the table. Forty-seven of them now, each with a single hostile job.
The standard
We named the company for what it does. Every engagement ends the same way: a verdict, graded and sourced, delivered while there is still time to act on it. That is the whole product. It has never needed to be anything else.
